This will be my first posting here, but i felt i got neccessary to eventually say a word of mouth of two concerning Ecatel.
I’ve recently been with Ecatel long now, and a bumpy road.
Recently that has turned tougher tho.
2 many days ago i obtained a server by way of Ecatel. When it absolutely was finally setup by Ecatel, my sysadmin had troubles handling the nic.
Finally following 2-3 days associated with work, my sysadmin finally identified the problem:
a) The actual NIC was a 100 mbps tier, and not a 1 GBPS that we ordered and purchased.
b) the Nic was completely broken and ceased responding after 4 hours of use.
We reached Ecatel regarding the following, and two days to weeks later they told the pollsters the NIC was broken and in addition they would get us a brand new server within 24 hours.
2 times passed, and no response from Ecatel had been received, so i chose to email them again.
This time i got told that we were looking at out of nodes, and had go some servers or even some ********.
Today the right way to a week since my server pennyless down, and my spouse and i still haven’t gotten my new server.
It’s been over 48 hours since thought about the last response from their store.
This is just a warning, and related to a Ecatel representive will see this and actually take action for once.
If here is the service you have got received from time one, I could pack my bags, ask for a refund and uncover another host before it can be too late.
There is an Ecatel rep upon these forums so We’d assume he will see it soon.
Have an individual checked their SLA or terms of service to view if it mentions a hardware replacement unit time length guarantee You could possibly get credit on the account or money back should they broke the SLA/TOS.
Well i have to mention they promised they’d reset the machine date, so i receive the period i taken care of. The problem is however that i need it today, i’m losing cash every minute while not having this machine.

Then why not consider another provider What the heck is your budget, node and location requirements
Hmm.. contemplating their site offers broken links, that cant possibly be a superb sign. I imagine you’re not using this host for anything quest critical, but still.. if I were you We’d be looking for any refund (not this server).
so these guys are certainly not good at most of. They just want your hard earned dollars correct well would you try discussing with them about that or they didnt reply
Is elcatel the organization that alot of people use pertaining to offshore hosting as a result of lax policies they need I could always be mistaken but i’m sure every offshore I see generally with elcatel.

Apart from that, if you are not happy with all of them, simply move.
I would just simply move if it really is that urgent.
sorry to say but any hosting provider offering there services often . does not deserve to be in the web hosting service business.
I certainly recommend you get a reputable internet hosting provider as there are lots of out there that really provide the expert services offered.

We are receiving some major delays owing to public holidays from the Netherlands and that weekend. Some with our staff affiliates where unavailible. Currently i am getting so extremely many orders in addition to support requests that marilyn and i almost unable to touch them quickly any more. We hope most of delays are done in 12 hours. Our apoligies!

I have feedback available for you (also posted it in your ticket ID).
As *all* the gigabit ports are currently used at the datacenter your server can be found A new gbit blade has to be installed first in a of our changes, it will become done around THIRTEEN: 00 CET right now. First we did will migrate the equipment but this wasnt executed (i dont see important yet but showed internal request for additional info).
The swap upgrade was planned that they are done earlier but because of software problems the fresh blade didnt work within the switch. Apart through that, Because of holiday seasons and weekend we’ve found a big hold off on some cases and people within the datacenter have their own hands full as we’re getting a very good amount of quite a few requests/orders currently.
We can easily gaurantee you the problem will be solved today and will compensate you with the days you shed.
